Glory Pharmacy | Drug Bust | March 2011 | Spring Hill

 Pharmacy Busted | Spring Hill
Hernando County Sheriff's Office in Florida had busted and shut down the Glory Pharmacy in Spring Hill, Florida. The allegations are the pharmacy took fraudulent oxycodone prescriptions. An anonymous tip started the investigation. The business is located on Mariner Drive / Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill, Florida. Officials told BayNews9.com,  "it was never intended to be a legitimate pharmacy."

Customers allegedly brought in fraudulent prescriptions and in exchange paid for pills, mostly oxycodone, deputies say. Drug enforcement officials also allege that the bust netted "250,000 pills, with a local street value of $2 million." More arrests are expected, even though the drug store was closed in October of 2010.

Florida Prescription Drug Defense Attorney / Lawyer notes that Hernando County now has a Drug Court to help Prescription Drug offenders avoid a Felony Conviction for possession of controlled substances.
